Jordan Taylor

My practice stems from an interest in self-histories and their role in defining and shaping my own identity within the queer collective consciousness, building itself up, carving new avenues and directions inside a very fluid and shifting territory.

Moving between maker and ghost, my aim is to establish a new queer type of materiality that constantly shifts between images, paper and textiles and draws its energy from a cumulative and communal objective - and at the same time draws from being completely cut off.

(reseach Todd's Syndrome and you'll have a clearer feel for what im on about)
